History

In September 2012, the Pepper Group entered the Irish market after acquiring the share capital of GE Capital Woodchester Home Loans. This included around 3,500 Irish mortgage accounts, with over €600 million in receivables. At the time, Pepper also assumed responsibility for servicing GE Capital’s Irish portfolio of personal, small enterprise and auto loans.

Since then we have gone on to manage assets with a value of over €18bn. Our clients range from Irish retail banks to international investors. The company is rated by Standard & Poor’s as “above average” for its residential mortgage servicing and “average, with a positive outlook” for its commercial servicing.

With over 100 years combined experience, our leadership team has some of the best talent in the industry. The team members integrate local knowledge with global expertise and hands-on experience in owning and operating lending businesses in Ireland, the UK and Europe.

We employ over 400 people across our sites in Dublin and Shannon, from which we service residential and commercial mortgages and provide a variety of asset management services.
